Women for Women International wanted to expand its longstanding history supporting marginalised women in conflict-affected countries to include adolescent girls. We were tasked to:
Develop their first global policy on working with adolescent girls and contextualised it for their Rwanda country office
Design and deliver a series of trainings to raise awareness and build skills on working with adolescent girls & child safeguarding policy, procedures, and practice
Identify adjustments to their core programme to meet the needs and interests of adolescent girls
The organisation is now able to impact the lives of thousands of adolescent girls by developing critical life and business skills to make informed decisions about their future.
