Natalie Au, Managing Director

Natalie’s experience in gender equality and social impact and safeguarding spans a 15-year career delivering social impact at scale for public and private sector organisations. Natalie is passionate about empowering disadvantaged groups, particularly adolescent girls and women.

She is happiest using her expertise in unconventional ways, whether it’s blending digital technologies and social and behaviour change theory to deliver impact for adolescent girls and women, or improving organisational performance in safeguarding drawing from global standards from the international development, humanitarian, and private sectors.

Her innovative programme design integrating digital technology with approaches to empowering adolescent girls in Nigeria was featured in TIME in 2017. In 2018, she was invited by the Swedish Royal Family to present at the Global Child Forum on the role of business in promoting children’s rights.

Natalie has a Bachelor’s in Women’s Studies/Gender Studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, and a Master’s in International Politics and Human Rights from City University in London. She is a Trustee for ChildHope UK, a child rights organisation that works in partnership with children and their communities to ensure they have a safe and secure childhood.
